In Moonfall, an unknown force pulls the Moon from its orbit around Earth, hurling it into a collision with life as we know it. With the world on the verge of extinction, NASA executive and former astronaut Jo Fowler (Academy Award® winner Halle Berry) believes she has the key to saving us all – but only one of her former astronauts, Brian Harper (Patrick Wilson, “Midway”), and conspiracy theorist K.C. Houseman (John Bradley, “Game of Thrones”) believe her. These unlikely heroes will risk everything on a risky last-ditch mission into space, only to discover that our Moon is not what we thought it was.
Looking at the clip, it appears like an alien intelligence or something is at work, as what appear to be swarms of nanobots attack astronauts and cause general chaos. Moonfall stars Halle Berry, Patrick Wilson, and Samwell Tarly himself, actor John Bradley, as well as Michael Pea, Charlie Plummer, Kelly Yu, Eme Ikwuakor, Carolina Bartczak, and Donald Sutherland, and feels like it was chosen by tossing darts at a Hollywood phonebook. We’re looking forward to seeing Sutherland’s crotchety scientist/President in particular.
Moonfall will be released in theaters on February 4, 2022, by Lionsgate, hopefully at a period when the COVID pandemic will be less severe.
