Sweet Girl Storyline

Amanda Cooper, a lady from Pittsburgh, is diagnosed with a rare kind of cancer. Her husband, Ray Cooper, a survival specialist, has learned that a potentially life-saving drug for Amanda was taken off the market just days before her treatment was to begin because BioPrime CEO Simon Keeley paid the manufacturer to postpone production.

Ray calls in while watching Keeley on a live discussion with Congresswoman Diana Morgan and threatens to murder him if he doesn’t alter his choice. Keeley seems unconcerned about the threat, and Amanda dies soon after, hurting Ray and their daughter Rachel.

Six months later, Ray receives a call from Martin Bennett, a journalist who claims to have evidence of BioPrime’s criminal conduct. They meet in the metro, where Rachel and a hitman named Santos are unwittingly following them. Bennett explains that BioPrime has been buying anybody who challenges their wicked activities, but Santos stabs him to death before he can disclose his information.

Santos stabs Ray and knocks out Rachel as the train arrives at a halt, leaving them both on the platform for dead. Ray has been avidly watching Keeley’s movements for the past two years. Ray impersonates a waiter in order to infiltrate BioPrime’s charity auction and question Keeley. Keeley tells him he doesn’t know anything and that he should go after BioPrime’s chairman, Vinod Shah. Ray strangles one of Keeley’s bodyguards to death with a plastic bag after a horrific fight that leaves one of his men dead.

Ray then takes Rachel to a motel outside of town, where they hide. Rachel contacts FBI Agent Sarah Meeker, anxious that her father has gone too far, and tries to persuade her to check into BioPrime. Two mercenaries break into the motel the next morning, and Ray murders both of them, escalating the tension between him and Rachel. Ray intends to pursue Shah and enlists Rachel’s assistance in catching him. Ray tries to question him, but Shah refuses to cooperate and is assassinated by Santos shortly after. Ray and Rachel meet with Santos in a diner, and after revealing that he sympathizes with Ray’s cause, Santos discloses that Morgan is his true employer. He also assures Rachel that they will see each other again soon.

When Ray returns to the city, the FBI ambushes him and he runs to the roof of a baseball stadium. As Meeker tries to reason with him, it becomes clear that “Ray” is Rachel. Ray died in the subway from his wounds, and Rachel, who was suffering from PTSD and a fugue state, dedicated herself to completing his vengeance. She dives into the river but is knocked out and taken to the hospital in an ambulance. She locates Morgan’s campaign office, where Santos is waiting, after escaping free and smashing the vehicle.

Rachel regains her strength and stabs Santos to death, despite his early success in subduing her by strangling and drowning her. She confronts Morgan and surreptitiously tapes her admitting to being bribed by BioPrime for federal contracts and ordering the assassination of Bennett and Ray. Rachel obtains a phony passport, exchanges her money for bitcoin, and boards a plane to an unknown future after giving the recording to the FBI.
